Driver Trainee CDL DD01 E

This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor trailer combinations short and or long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Follow Company policies and DOT rules and regulations. Maintain driving log and conduct pre and post inspection of equipment. Drop, hook, spot, and interchange equipment as needed. Report all accidents. Climb in out of truck. Drive, shift gears, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work in inclement weather.
Must have valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old. Must have 1 year verifiable experience in type vehicle operated--top heavy load experience preferred. Must obtain medical card. Must not have DUI DWI conviction in past 8 years in personal vehicle and never in CMV. Must not have DOT Drug Alcohol Violation within past 3 years. Must pass road test. Must pass mandatory DOT drug tests. Must meet all Tyson Fleet Safety DOT requirements. Must have 6 months continuous work history with 1 employer within past 24 months. Must not have terminated from Tyson facility within past 6 months. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
